Tier 4 and The Illuminated Garden Trail

Update 30/12/20

We’re pleased to confirm that we will remain open for visitors to enjoy fresh air and exercise while we are in Tier 4. Please be advised that visitors from Tiers 1, 2 or 3, and indeed outside the local area, are requested not to travel to Helmingham Hall. As a large outside space, the Illuminated Garden Trail can be enjoyed safely by visitors with the safety measures that have been in place since reopening the gardens in June, including social distancing, enhanced cleaning, limits on visitor volumes and a one-way route around the trail. Our visitor and event staff’s safety and well-being are our utmost priority. Please note that shops and indoor catering venues are closed, but mobile and takeaway options are available. Please follow the latest Government advice regarding tiers. If it means you cannot now attend, please email events@helmingham.com for a refund, with your booking reference and name. Check the latest Government advice on local restrictions and tiers in England.

We hope you have had an amazing Christmas and have enjoyed the festivities.

Thank you to everyone who has asked about the Illuminated Garden Trail and us being moved into Tier 4. We wanted to understand the guidelines before making an announcement, thank you for your patience.

We are pleased to say that we can still go ahead.

As we are in Tier 4, anyone attending the Illuminated Garden Trail must follow the guidelines for that tier, this includes rules around households not mixing, support bubbles and social distancing.

We will continue to take steps to ensure everyone who attends is safe and we are looking forward to seeing you back from 31st December.
