June in the Helmingham Hall gardens

What’s blooming in the gardens.

The Rose Garden will be at its peak in mid to late June. Rosa ‘Madame Plantier’ and Rosa gallica ‘Versicolor’ are frequently commented on. The Hybrid Musk Rose Border will also be in full swing, of particular note are Rosa ‘Felicia’ and Rosa ‘Buff Beauty

Spring Border – although technically early Summer the Peonies will still be looking incredible, along with the Iris, Red Valeriana, and Nigella.

Herbaceous borders are burgeoning. Sweet Rocket, Alliums and Camassia, along with the Agrostemma ‘Ocean Pearl’ and Thalictrum aquilegifolium are looking good.

Topiary Border – Iris ‘Sable’ and Delphinium staphisagria will be flowering and at their peak.

Wildflowers on the moat banks and in the Wild Flower Garden are

peaking. Clovers, buttercups, ox-eye daisies and a variety of Orchids

begin to flower.

The gardens are open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from 11am-4.30pm.

Tickets are available from the shop on your day of visit.
