| Suffolk Dog Day |
Sunday 28th July 2013: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Top day for Dogs. Organised on behalf of The Suffolk Foundation. Classes start at 11.30. Every dog must have his day and in 2013 its July 28th. You’d be barking to miss the chance to celebrate our canine companions in all their guises. |
A woofing campaign has spread throughout the county and this, the sixth Dog Day, back by special request looks set to be at least a tail’s length bigger than last years family event. There’ll be more classes, fun-packed activities, stalls, refreshments and entertainments at the biggest celebration of man’s best friend.
We hear many pooches have hardly pawsed in their training to ensure the perkiest form for the agility, hounds are tracking down classes to enter and mutts are musing how to mark their patch.
The event is organised on behalf of The Suffolk Foundation, Suffolk’s very own community foundation. In just over 7 years The Suffolk Foundation has distributed over £6million worth of grants to a wide range of Suffolk causes and charities, all of whom are doing extraordinary work throughout Suffolk and tackling disadvantage in whatever form it takes. Funds raised at Suffolk Dog Day will go to support inspirational and hard working voluntary groups in Suffolk. For further information please see www.suffolkfoundation.org.uk |
Classes for all begin at 11.30, but register and come early, look around the many stalls, enjoy refreshments and the entertainments and the grounds are great for a “walkies.”
Adults: £7.00 (£6.00 in advance)
Children, senior citizens over 60 and disabled: £5.00 (£4.00 in advance)
Family ticket: 2 adults and 2 children £20.00 (£16.00 in advance)
