Top day for Dogs
Organised on behalf of The Suffolk Foundation
Sunday 1 August 10.30 - 5.00 pm
Classes start at 12.00
|
Every dog must have his day and in 2010 its August 1. You’d be barking to miss the chance to celebrate our canine companions in all their guises.
A woofing campaign has spread throughout the county and this, the second Dog Day, back by special request looks set to be at least a tail’s length bigger than last years family event. There’ll be more classes, fun-packed activities, stalls, refreshments and entertainments at the biggest celebration of man’s best friend.
We hear many pooches have hardly pawsed in their training to ensure the perkiest form for the agility, hounds are tracking down classes to enter and mutts are musing how to mark their patch.
The event is organised on behalf of The Suffolk Foundation, the fastest growing grant-making charity in the county that since this time last year has given away more than £1.2m to nearly 200 voluntary groups and charities in Suffolk.
